Winter Storm Bringing Widespread Hazardous Weather to the Eastern U.S.

A rapidly-intensifying winter storm continues to bring heavy snow, high winds, and blizzard conditions over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes through today. An upper level disturbance moved through the Ohio Valley on the morning of January 15th producing light snowfall. Afterwards, a clipper system moved through the region producing more snowfall into the overnight hours.
