Winter Storm Bringing Widespread Hazardous Weather to the Eastern U.S.

A rapidly-intensifying winter storm continues to bring heavy snow, high winds, and blizzard conditions over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes through today. Heavy Rain & Severe Weather

Slow-moving storms developed in a warm and humid airmass across the local area during the afternoon hours. These storms produced instances of small hail, gusty winds, and torrential rainfall. The slow movement of the storms allowed for excessive rainfall rates and numerous reports of flooding and flash flooding.
