Winter Storm Bringing Widespread Hazardous Weather to the Eastern U.S.

A rapidly-intensifying winter storm continues to bring heavy snow, high winds, and blizzard conditions over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes through today. Heavy Rain & Flooding

Slow-moving thunderstorms developed in an unstable airmass across the region during the afternoon and evening hours, producing several instances of heavy rain and flooding/flash flooding -- especially across portions of central Ohio. Rainfall up to 2-4 inches in a very short period of time produced rapid rises of water onto roads and in several neighborhoods.
