Atmospheric River Bringing Heavy Rain to Southern California and Heavy Snow to the Sierra Nevadas

A strong atmospheric river will continue heavy rain over southern California through Friday. The heaviest rainfall is ongoing today in the Los Angeles Basin. Flash and urban flooding is possible. A prolonged heavy snowfall has begun over the Sierra Nevada Mountains and will continue through Friday. Travel will become increasingly difficult over the passes due to snow and strong winds. EF0 Tornado near Clayton in Hendricks County

EF1 Tornado 2.5 miles northwest of Avon in Hendricks County

EF1 Tornado one half mile east of Pittsboro in Hendricks County

EF0 Tornado 4 miles west of Battleground in Tippecanoe County

EF2 Tornado 2.5 miles south and southeast of Whitestown in Boone County

EF1 Tornado 2.4 miles northeast of Sheridan in Hamilton county

EF0 Tornado 6 miles northeast of Greentown in Howard county
