Overview

A large synoptic system brought the largest snow event in 3 years to much of central Indiana starting late on February 14 and continuing into early on February 16.  Two day snowfall amounts ranged from 8 to 12 inches across the area. Heavy snow at times reduced visibility to around one quarter of a mile. Gusty winds caused blowing and drifting snow, which lead to drifts measured in feet.
