Overview

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms moved across central Indiana during the afternoon and evening of April 27. Tornadoes, damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain and flooding all occurred during this event.

Tornadoes

The Enhanced Fujita (EF) Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories:

Tornadoes that fail to impact any ratable damage indicators on the EF-Scale are rated EF-Unknown (EF-U)
