Tracking Late December Winter Storm Expected to Impact the Northern Plains through the Northeast U.S.

A winter storm system will rapidly intensify over the Midwest on Sunday and track through the Great Lakes on Monday. Periods of heavy snow are anticipated across the Upper Great Lakes late Sunday and continuing into Monday. Overview

Rounds of showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain, moved across portions of central Indiana during late July. These produced 1 day totals of over 5 inches in some areas and 6 day totals over 8 inches of rain. Flash flooding occurred, with some water rescues being performed in Knox County on July 24.
