
An atmospheric river will wind down through today across California with lingering heavy rainfall, heavy mountain snow, and gusty winds. National Weather Service damage surveys for the March 8 events include a third tornado. The first tornado was an EF0 crossing the Wabash River from Illinois to a few miles southwest of Oaktown north of Vincennes. Two other tornadoes occurred in Lawrence County. EF3 tornado in Fayetteville. Length two miles, width 1/8 mile. Latitude/Longitude midpoint track: 38.85075 86.59879
EF0 tornado 2 miles north of Bedford. Length 1/5 mile, width 50 yards. Latitude/Longitude midpoint track 38.88341 86.48446.
Together the Lawrence County tornadoes destroyed 3 homes and damaged 19 homes. Only tree damage resulted from the tornado in Knox County.
Straight line wind damage also occurred in Odon (Daviess Co.) and Freelandville (Knox Co.).
