Storm Impacting the Southwest U.S.

A slow moving weather disturbance will continue to bring periodic rain showers, a few isolated thunderstorms, and a localized flash flooding across the Southwest. The tornado was embedded in a swath of 70mph straight-line winds.  The tornado touched down about four miles northeast of Winchester between Gay Evans Road and Pretty Run Road.  Two barns were destroyed, three barns had substantial damage, a corn crib was destroyed, one house had structural damage, and many trees were uprooted or snapped.
