Cold Front Moving Through the Northeast U.S. Monday; Atmospheric River to Impact the Pacific Northwest Midweek

A cold front will cross the Great Lakes and Northeast U.S. through Monday with gusty winds and areas of rain showers. A strong atmospheric river is expected to move into the Pacific Northwest by midweek bringing a threat for moderate to heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and mountain snows for parts of Washington, Oregon, northern California, and the Sierra Nevada. Intermittent Outages on NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KIH41 Lexington

 

Intermittent outages are expected on NOAA Weather Radio transmitter KIH41/Lexington (162.400 MHz) over the next few weeks as technicians perform regular maintenance. If there is imminent severe weather, maintenance will be postponed to ensure that service is restored. Across portions of the area covered by the KIH41 transmitter, you may be able to receive signal from WZ2523/Frankfort (162.500 MHz), KZZ48/Owenton (162.450 MHz), and/or KZZ63/Campbellsville (162.525 MHz) We thank you for your patience and understanding while we perform maintenance.
