Several high school students, participating in a Summer Apprenticeship Program at Kentucky State University, visited the National Weather Service in Louisville Monday morning.  These students are exposed to college readiness, STEM career path including agricultural, environmental and geospatial field,  hands-on experience with instruments and sensors used for research.  They are taking part in experiential research with mentors.  The NWS showed them our operations area and presented some cases where we have used tools in the past.
