Flooding Risks from Tropical Moisture Across the Southeast and Southwest

Tropical moisture from Isaias and Rachel will impact portions of the Southeast and Southwest this weekend. On April 16, Bellarmine University in Louisville became the sixth university in Kentucky to be recognized as a StormReady University. Bellarmine is the Commonwealth's first private StormReady university. The Office of Public Safety has aligned the University's severe weather response with national best practices, and developed a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan that could be a model for campus preparedness everywhere.
