National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Boyle County and the City of Danville, KY were recognized today as our newest StormReady County/Community. This recognition is the result of excellent teamwork at both the city and county levels, and a strong partnership with the National Weather Service in Louisville. A small county of just 29,000, Boyle County welcomes thousands more for several annual outdoor events, including the Great American Brass Band Festival, the Perryville Civil War re-enactment, and the Bourbon Chase. City and county officials work closely with the National Weather Service to look after the safety of residents and visitors of Danville and Boyle County.
