Atmospheric River Continues Areas of Heavy Rain and Snow for California This Weekend

An atmospheric river will continue to bring gusty winds, moderate to heavy rainfall, and potential flooding to southern California and the southern Great Basin through Sunday. No high temperatures records were broken on Sunday, but all sites reporting in southern Indiana and central Kentucky got into the 90s. 

We will close out September with another day of unseasonable heat, and more to come for the start of October.  

Records in jeopardy this week include the warmest September, the driest September, the driest month all-time, and the all-time warmest October day.
