NWS Louisville Donates Flood Buckets for Hurricane Disaster Relief

Staff from NWS Louisville recently donated 8 flood buckets to hurricane relief efforts. Flood buckets are 5 gallon buckets filled with cleaners, gloves, wipes/scouring pads, insect repellent, etc that are distributed to those affected by the hurricanes/flooding. This is to help those individuals begin the overwhelming task of cleaning after the disaster.

NWS Louisville flood buckets shipped out Wednesday and will soon be put to use by those affected by the hurricanes.  This donation is part of an annual effort NWS-wide when each NWS office conducts their own unique service/volunteer project.
