A storm system will bring accumulating snow to parts of the region today, along with gusty winds. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued along and north of a line from Hawesville to Hodgenville to Liberty.
Snow: Southern IN into portions of central KY: 1-2 inches, locally higher possible.
Wind: Expect sustained winds out of the west 15-25 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Temperatures: 30s falling into the teens to lower 20s by late afternoon. Combined with the wind, wind chill values will be in the single digits to teens by sunset.
Timing: The highest coverage will be 7 AM - 1 PM with some scattered snow showers continuing in the afternoon. This may cause morning travel issues.
