Heat Wave Across the Central and Southeast US; Flash Flood Threats in the North-Central US, Southeast, and Guam

Dangerous heat is expected across portions of the Central and Southeast U.S. through July. Heavy rains, flash flooding & severe weather are possible across the middle Missouri River Valley and Upper Midwest to the upper Great Lakes. Large hail in Ohio County was propelled by winds up to 80 mph!  This photo was taken in Centertown:

This is how the storm looked on radar as it was dropping its hail on Centertown.  The storm would go on to produce 80 mph winds (equivalent to a Category 1 hurricane!) near Hartford.
