With clouds and rain hanging around for much of the day on Tuesday, temperatures did not rise much at all during the day. Highs in most locations were only in the 50s, roughly 20 degrees below normal for this time of year. The high of 55 degrees in Louisville tied the record for the coldest maximum temperature observed on May 17th.
