Damage Type: Tornado Date: Oct 07 2014 EF Scale: 1 Wind Speed: MAX 107 mph Path Length: 3.6 miles Path Width: 150 yards Injuries: 0 Fatalities: 0 Start Time: 3:50 PM EDT Start Location: 6.8 miles NNW Georgetown, KY Start Lat/Lon: 38.2102 / -84.5584 End Time: 3:52 PM EDT End Location: 4.1 N Georgetown, KY End Lat/Lon: 38.2922 / -84.6268 Narrative: The EF-1 tornado touched down just south west of Malibu Canyon Road around 6 miles NNW of Georgetown where it snapped several hardwood trees. Winds with this initial damage ranged from 70-107 mph. The tornado then moved southeast where more trees were snapped and an outbuilding was destroyed. As the tornado neared the end of its path a couple of small barns were destroyed with winds between 90 and 107 mph. At the end of the path, a couple of homes sustained roof damage, along with additional tree damage. The tornado lifted just east of Cincinnati Road, about 4 miles NNW of Georgetown.
