Heavy to excessive rainfall is expected today into Wednesday over New Mexico into far west Texas. Flash flooding and debris flows in wildfire burn areas will be possible. A strong coastal storm will develop off the Mid-Atlantic coast Wednesday, intensifying toward southern New England this weekend. Narrative: Moved east from south of High Grove, to seven miles west of Fairfield, to two miles east of Fairfield. A man was killed in a tobacco barn, and thirty people were injured in the High Grove area as at least six homes were destroyed. The funnel may have been aloft over Fairfield. This tornado was part of the "Enigma Outbreak", when sixty tornadoes swept through the southeast United States.
