Tropical Storm Edouard Along the Gulf Coast; Heat Expands Eastward

Tropical Storm Edouard off the central Gulf Coast will bring tropical storm conditions and heavy rainfall to portions of Upper Texas and southwestern Louisiana coasts Tuesday into Wednesday. Narrative:  One "substantial" home and four barns were destroyed as a tornado moved northeast at Sonora.  Many other buildings were damaged.  This day's wind damage throughout the state of Kentucky totalled $1,000,000.
