Lala will continue to impact Hawaii through the weekend. Heavy rainfall, strong winds, dangerous surf and localized flooding are expected. Thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and flash flooding concerns from the mid-Mississippi Valley, Ohio Valley into the central Appalachians and the mid-Atlantic through today. Narrative: A tornado moved northeast from near Park City to Cave City. Fifty homes were damaged or destroyed, mostly in and near Cave City. Some of the dead were found 300 yards from where they were sleeping. The Masonic Hall and two churches were destroyed. The track may very well have continued on past Barren County.
