Severe Thunderstorms and Heavy Rainfall in the Southern Plains; Heat Continues in the West

Strong to severe thunderstorms may bring areas of excessive rainfall and flooding over parts of the southern Plains today through Friday. Hot to dangerously hot temperatures are forecast across portions of the Pacific Northwest and southern Great Basin today. Grazulis narrative:  Moved east-northeast from five miles southeast of Salem.  Farm buildings on one farm, and a house on another farm, were destroyed.
Noted discrepancies:  SPC and NCDC give this a path width of 800 yards, Grazulis and Storm Data give 100 yards.  Storm Data says this tornado hit four and a half miles southeast of Salem near IN 60 (present-day IN 160?) and the Middle Blue River.
