Flash flooding risks continue for portions of the Four Corners and Great Basin through today. Severe thunderstorms are outlooked from the eastern Great Lakes, southern New England into the mid-Atlantic through Tuesday. Narrative: Two large factory buildings and a warehouse at the American Car and Foundry plant were destroyed in Jeffersonville, halting production of much-needed naval artillery. Slight roof damage occurred at the corner of Walnut and Court Streets. The damage was surveyed by the chief of the Louisville weather station, E. E. Unger.
