Areas of Dangerous Heat and Heavy Rain with Possible Flooding into this Weekend

Hot temperatures and high humidity are forecast to continue across much of northeast Texas into the mid-Mississippi Valley into this weekend with heat advisories in effect. Overview

A severe weather episode comprised of large hail and damaging winds affected mainly parts of central to southeast Missouri on Saturday, May 27th. Several rounds of severe thunderstorms beginning in the early afternoon and lasting through the early evening brought large hail and fairly widespread damaging winds.
