Cold Persists through the Weekend
An Arctic air mass settled over Wisconsin back on Tuesday. This stretch of below normal temperatures is expected to continue across southern Wisconsin through the weekend.
High temperatures today will range from 8 above to around 15 above. Low temperatures tonight will tumble back to between zero and 10 below.
Wind chills tonight will tumble back to between 10 below and 20 below zero. Some locations north of Madison including Fond du Lac, Montello, Green Lake and Baraboo may fall to 20 and 23 below zero. A Wind Chill Advisory may be needed for portions of the area for later tonight into Sunday morning.
Warmer temperatures will arrive by early next week, with temperatures closer to normal for this time of year. See the high temperatures gradually rise across the region into next week below:
