Summary of all Local Storm Reports (LSRs) of snow, sleet and freezing rain across the area on January 16th and 17th, as well as all the LSRs across the region (western portion/eastern portion) for this event.
STATS: MOB (Mobile, AL) measured 0.1" of sleet/snow during this event. This marks only the SECOND time in recorded history that TWO measurable snow events were recorded in the same winter (December through February) in Mobile. The first measurable event of the winter occurred on December 8-9, 2017. The only other time that two measurable snow events occurred in one winter in Mobile, AL was the winter of 1976/1977 (January 18th and 31st in 1977).
