A Gale Warning remains in effect through tonight for the offshore Gulf waters for frequent gusts to gale-force and dangerous seas of 8- 10 feet. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect mainly for the nearshore Gulf waters through Thursday, including the Mississippi Sound and Southern Mobile Bay for much of tonight. Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize of damage vessels and reduce visibility. Constant rolling and pitching makes standing on deck hazardous. Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous boating conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and secure the vessel.
