Excessive Heat Continues in the Western U.S.; Excessive Rainfall Lingers Along the Northern Gulf Coast

Excessive heat will continue through this weekend for the Southwest U.S. Heat will slowly abate across the Northwest through Saturday as upper level low pressure moves in. Many areas remain under Excessive Heat Warnings, and Heat Advisories. Heavy to excessive rainfall will continue a threat for flooding Saturday from southern Louisiana to northern Florida.
