National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Overview

Low pressure over the Great Lakes and its associated warm front brought a light snow mainly to the interior Lower Hudson Valley, interior northeast New Jersey, and interior southwest Connecticut. Snowfall amounts ranged from 1 to 4 inches, highest in Orange County and over higher elevations. Mainly rain occurred elsewhere, but some light snow was able to mix in across northwest Long Island for a dusting in a few spots. A few flakes fell in the NYC metro, but no accumulation occurred.
