BUFKIT Model Soundings

BUFKIT is a program written to display vertical soundings from different computer models that we use to predict the weather. The BUFKIT program must first be downloaded and installed on your computer. You must have the latest version, BUFKIT4, because the file naming system has changed, and older versions of BUFKIT will not recognize the new names.

BUFKIT Distribution and Installation

After you install the program, you can modify the BUFKIT.CFG file and download BUFKIT data from the BUFKIT Warehouse website.
