There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

A rapid warm-up this week will send high temperatures into the mid 80s as early as Monday and potentially reaching 90° by the latter half of this week.
As high pressure builds over the region this week temperatures will rapidly warm to well above normal. Afternoon highs will go from the lower 80s to start the week to the low 90s by the end of the week. With highs in the 80s and low 90s this will result in Minor HeatRisk across the lower deserts. So make sure to take extra precaution if spending time outdoors, especially if you're more sensitive to the heat.
A broad area of high pressure ridging will support well above normal temperatures and dry conditions across the Desert Southwest through the beginning of March.
The average first 90° for all three of our climate sites occurs in mid to late March. However, the earliest 90° for all of the climate sites has already passed. So even though we're forecasting for all three sites to reach 90°+ by the end of the week it won't be the earliest occurrence.
