Severe Weather in the Central Plains; Heavy Rainfall in the Tennessee Valley; Critical Fire Weather in the West

Scattered severe storms capable of large to very large hail, severe wind gusts, and a few tornadoes will be possible across the central Plains this evening. Heavy to excessive rainfall may bring a flooding threat from the Great Lakes to the Mid-South through tonight. Record high temperatures are in jeopardy of being broken from Wednesday through Saturday (March 18th - 21st). Forecast high temperatures in that period have a good chance of breaking the all time record high temperature for the month of March as well. Here are some statistics for our 3 primary climate sites: Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Alamosa.
