Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain in the Mid-South; Heat Continues in the Southeast and Southwest

Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected across portions of the mid-Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley and portions of Arizona. Dangerous heat persists in the South and Southeast while building into the Southwest. Record high temperatures are in jeopardy of being broken from Wednesday through Saturday (March 18th - 21st). Forecast high temperatures in that period have a good chance of breaking the all time record high temperature for the month of March as well. Here are some statistics for our 3 primary climate sites: Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Alamosa.
