Areas of gusty southwest to west winds for the mountains and deserts for this afternoon into tonight with the stronger gusts to 45 to 55 mph and isolated gusts to 65 mph in the northern Coachella Valley below the San Gorgonio Pass.

A few degrees warmer than Friday at lower elevations to around 5 degrees warmer for the mountains. Highs in the mid 60s near the coast to the 70s to around 80 in the valleys, in the upper 70s to mid 80s for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys, in the upper 80s to mid 90s for the lower deserts, and mostly in the 60s for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet.

A few degrees warmer than Saturday for the lower deserts to 5 to 10 degrees warmer for the inland valleys, a few degrees above average near the coast to 10 to 15 degrees above average for inland areas. Highs around 70 near the coast to the mid 70s to lower 80s for the San Diego County valleys and the 80s for the Inland Empire, in the 80s for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys, mostly in the 90s for the lower deserts, and in the mid 60s to mid 70s for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet.
