Scattered showers, along with isolated to scattered thunderstorms, will move into the region this morning. Locally intense rain and gusty winds with any thunderstorm. Chances decrease near the coast late in the day, but continue inland through the evening.
It will be hot again today, despite the additional cloudiness and humidity. Highs will be in the 80s at the coast, 90s valleys, upper 80s to mid 90s in the high desert, upper 90s to lower 100s in the low desert, and 70s and 80s in the mountains.
