A 3 ft, 13-16 second southerly swell from 190 degrees will continue to bring elevated surf of 3-6 feet with sets up to 7 feet, especially on more south-facing beaches. This south swell will persist at least through the end of the week. A Beach Hazard Statement in now in effect through Friday evening. High risk for rip currents accompanies this elevated surf, with strong longshore currents along more west-facing beaches.
