High pressure continues to build in over the region, allowing for temperatures to be even slightly warmer than they were yesterday. Most of the low clouds will dissipate, although there could be some clouds hugging portions of the coastline throughout the afternoon.
Temperatures near to slightly above normal. For the coastal areas: 73 to 80, western valleys and inland Orange County: 80 to 87, inland valleys: 85 to 96, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 79 to 89, high desert: 94 to 100, low desert: 107 to 111.
Temperatures likely above 95F in the Inland Empire and above 110F throughout the low deserts. Moderate risk for heat-related illnesses for most individuals sensitive to heat, especially without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.
Slightly above normal temperatures in the deserts. Near normal elsewhere. For the coastal areas: 72 to 79, western valleys and inland Orange County: 79 to 85, inland valleys: 83 to 94, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 78 to 90, high desert: 95 to 102, low desert: 108 to 112.
Temperatures likely above 110F throughout the low deserts. Moderate risk for heat-related illnesses for most individuals sensitive to heat, especially without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.
