Light showers will be possible early on Friday in all areas except the low deserts. Showers become likely with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon across portions of the area including the high deserts, Inland Empire, San Bernardino mountains, and Riverside County mountains. Showers remain possible elsewhere in the afternoon, including the low deserts.
High temperatures will continue to range 5 to 10 degrees below average in the coastal zones and 10 to 20 degrees below average elsewhere. High temperatures for San Diego from around 70 near the coast to the 70s in the valleys, for Orange County from around 70 near the coast to the lower to mid 70s inland, for the Inland Empire mostly in the 70s, for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys mostly in the 70s, for the lower deserts in the mid 80s to lower 90s, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet, in the mid 50s to upper 60s.
High temperatures will begin to rebound on Saturday for all areas except the coastal zones. Temperatures will be generally just below average area wide. High temperatures for San Diego from around 70 near the coast to the upper 70s in the valleys, for Orange County from around 70 near the coast to the mid 70s inland, for the Inland Empire mostly low to mid 80s, for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys mostly in the 80s, for the lower deserts in the 90s, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet, in the mid 60s to mid 70s.
High temperatures will continue to climb to near or slightly above normal by Sunday. High temperatures for San Diego County from around the mid 70s for the coast and western valleys to the mid to upper 80s for the inland valleys, for Orange County in the low to mid 80s, for the Inland Empire in the upper 80s to low 90s, for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys in the mid 80s to low 90s, for the lower deserts in the upper 90s to low 100s, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet in the low 70s to low 80s.
