3 ft southwesterly swells at 14-15 seconds will continue to bring elevated surf of 3-5 feet with sets up to 6 feet, especially on more south-southwest facing beaches. This swell will persist into next week. A Beach Hazard Statement remains in effect through Sunday evening. High risk for rip currents accompanies this elevated surf.
Relatively cool, slightly below average temperatures expected this weekend. Notable warming trend next week sends temperatures above normal from next Tuesday onward
