An Extreme Heat Watch has been issued for the mountains (excluding the Santa Ana range), deserts, and Inland Empire for Thursday and Friday. Areas of high HeatRisk in the deserts with widespread moderate HeatRisk in the mountains and Inland Empire is forecast. Increasing humidity with the return of monsoon moisture will limit nighttime cooling, particularly in the low deserts.
