Onshore moving isolated to scattered showers (20-40%) are forecast this morning across the Treasure Coast with lightning storms chances increasing into the afternoon, especially over the far western interior where boundary collisions are forecast to occur this afternoon. Another round of scattered showers and lighting storms (40-50%) are forecast to develop over south-central Florida before pushing offshore of the Treasure Coast late this evening into the overnight. The main hazard will be cloud to ground lightning strikes. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid 80s to low 90s under partly sunny skies. Breezy east winds at 10-15mph with gusts up to 25mph, especially along the coast are forecast into this afternoon. Fire sensitive conditions will also continue today. A Moderate Risk for rip currents exists at area beaches.
