Active Weather Pattern Across the Northwestern and Central U.S.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to develop across portions of the central and northern High Plains Sunday afternoon and linger into Sunday evening. Severe winds, large to very large hail and heavy rain will be possible. Thunderstorms moved across the western southern tier during the early afternoon hours. The thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines. There were reports of damage to homes and cars in Cuba, Whitesville, and Olean.
