Severe Weather and Flooding Threats for the Central U.S.; Dangerous Heat in the Southern and Western U.S.

Severe weather and flooding threats will continue for portions of the central U.S. over the next couple of days, with multiple rounds of thunderstorms expected. Dangerous heat will persist across the southern and western U.S. through mid-week. .SYNOPSIS...
Continued rain/snowfall is expected across the mountain this
morning. In the afternoon conditions will improve as the mountain
as the main front that was focusing the precipitation begins to
weaken. An additional 6 inches of snowfall is possible at basecamp
to 14000 feet although chances for rain at lower elevations will
limit acuumulation. Thursday chacnes for precipitation are slight
before another round of heavier precipitation for areas from 7 to
14 thousand feet arrives Friday morning.
