Heavy Rainfall in the Southern Plains and Mississippi Valley; Thunderstorms in Eastern Colorado on Thursday

A multiple day heavy rainfall event will begin to set up from the Southern Plains into the Mississippi Valley Thursday, peaking in intensity over the holiday weekend. .SYNOPSIS...
Southerly winds will continue on the Mountain with daily snow
showers from 7000 to 14000 ft for the next few days. The
steadiest snow will be Thursday afternoon through Thursday night
then gradually dissipate on Friday. Winds are weakening through
tonight and the previous strong wind advisory for Thursday night
looks to be weaker than initially thought.

.OUTLOOK FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...
After a brief respite from active weather in the vicinity of the
mountain tonight into early Thursday, another storm system will
move towards the mountain from the southwest bringing steadier
snow Thursday afternoon and Thursday night. Winds will be gusty Thursday
night and Friday with the strongest winds, around 35 mph expected
on Friday. Expect daily snow chances from 7000 to 14000 ft. Winds
will be generally weak Saturday and Sunday.
