There is a low (level 1 out of 5) Marginal risk of severe storms Saturday for the southeastern half of Central Alabama. Primary threats include large hail up to quarter size and damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph.
We will be a bit warmer today with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s under mostly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance for a few showers through the day. Southwesterly winds will pick up through the day with gusts up to 25 MPH at times.
Look for mostly cloudy skies tonight with lows in the mid 50s to mid 60s. Showers are likely overnight.
