Event Summary for Central Alabama

Multiple tornadic supercell thunderstorms affected Central Alabama during the afternoon and evening hours of Thursday, March 14th. A total of fifteen tornadoes, along with large hail and straight-line wind damage, occurred across portions of Central Alabama as conditions became favorable. Three of the supercells are believed to have produced multiple tornadoes.
