Rain chances return to the forecast on Saturday as a cold front moves through the region. Chances for showers and storms will begin to increase during the afternoon hours, peaking during the evening and overnight hours. Rainfall amounts will generally be less than 0.5" so we do not expect any improvements to our ongoing drought conditions.
Another warm day is in store as we wrap up the work week. High temps will settle into the upper 80s to around 90° under sunny skies. Several record high temps will likely be broken this afternoon.
A cold front will move into the area during the late afternoon and evening hours on Saturday. As a result, we will see an increase in cloud cover and rain chances with the greatest chances across our northwestern areas. Otherwise, look for highs in the mid 80s.
