The existing Flood Watch has been extended in both time and space, as multiple rounds of heavy thunderstorms are anticipated through Monday. Storm will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall in a short period of time.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are possible again today, especially across the southeast. Afternoon highs will range from the upper-70s to mid-80s.
Due to a late summer cold front, afternoon highs on Monday will only range in the upper-70s and low-80s. Shower and thunderstorm chances will also linger through the evening hours.
