Areas of freezing rain are possible late this afternoon through Sunday morning across portions of the higher elevations. A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for the east slope of the Berkshires and northern Worcester Hills for potential for a glaze to 0.20" of ice accumulation. Use caution if traveling as roads may be slick, especially if untreated.
If traveling in the high terrain in the Berkshire or Northern Worcester County tonight, use extra caution as freezing rain may make untreated surface slippery. Freezing rain comes to an end overnight as the low pressure center moves offshore.
Gusty winds make a return Sunday night following tonight's rain as a cold front moves across southern New England. Occasional gusts to 50 mph aren't out of the question, but most should range between 35-45 mph. As a result of these winds, it may feel much colder than it is.
