Coldest Temperatures in 15 Years

As of 1030 AM EST Friday, January 16, 2009:

   Cleveland Hopkins Airport dipped to -13 degrees. This is the coldest temperature reported at Cleveland since January 19, 1994 when the all time record coldest temperature of -20 degrees was recorded.

   At Mansfield...the low so far today has been -13 degrees. This is the coldest temperature reported at Mansfield since December 25, 2004 when it was -15 degrees.

   At Akron-Canton the low so far today has been -14 degrees. This is the coldest temperature at Akron-Canton since January 19, 1994 when it was -25 degrees.

   At Youngstown the low so far today has been -10 degrees. This is the coldest temperature at Youngstown since January 19, 1994 when it was -22 degrees.

   At Erie, Pennsylvania the low so far today has been -6 degrees. This is the coldest temperature at Erie since February 10, 1994 when it was -7 degrees.

   At Toledo the low so far today has been -14 degrees. This is the coldest temperature at Toledo since January 19, 1994 when it was -18 degrees.
