Two Storms Tracking through the Southwest and Southcentral U.S.

A storm over the southwest U.S. will shift east through Thursday while another Pacific storm pivots over the region Friday through the weekend. Widespread low elevation rain and high elevation snow showers are expected with each storm. Light to moderate snow fell across portions of southeast Iowa, northeast Missouri, and west central Illinois on Wednesday as an upper level storm system passed across the region. Snowfall amounts generally ranged from around 1 to 3 inches, with the heavier totals in southeast Iowa.
